External Feel

The architectural character is defined by clean, contemporary lines that respond to the slope of the land. Glazed openings are carefully positioned to frame the landscape  and bring the outdoors into daily life, while terraces and external spaces create a layered dialogue with the garden and woodland. The house is composed to sit harmoniously within its setting, understated yet confident, and designed to feel at home among the surrounding trees.

The Interior Palette

Materials and finishes have been selected to complement the natural environment. A palette of soft neutrals, natural textures, and refined detailing runs throughout the home, providing a sense of calm, cohesion, and elegance. Every element has been considered with care, from bespoke joinery to integrated high performance glazing and energy-efficient systems, including underfloor heating and sustainable technologies.  

Architecture + Interior Vision

Light and orientation are carefully choreographed throughout the day. Interior spaces capture the movement of the sun, while terraces and rooms offer varying perspectives, from the garden-facing lower ground floor to elevated viewpoints abov the tree canopy.

Floor plans

The Coppice is arranged over three levels. The lower ground floor houses the bedrooms, each opening directly onto the garden and benefitting from natural light and views beneath the trees. A vaulted sitting room forms the heart of the home, bringing dramatic scale, light, and a sense of generosity to daily life. A large TV room offers a more intimate space for family gatherings, while a dedicated wine room adds both functionality and a refined touch. The first-floor terrace rises above the treetops, providing elevated views and a private space for dining, entertaining, or simply enjoying the woodland surroundings.
